This year I accidentally fell into doing inktober. It started with inspiration from the first theme and access to procreate. I think this time it was good for me. It definitely pushed my illustration skills such as they are.
I think the best thing about challenges like this is that they push you to put your art out into the world. You dou have time to agonize or critique yourself into inaction. Which is something I am very guilty of myself.
Inktober is a thirty one day challenge over the course of the moth of October where you have to produce an illustration a day based around a theme for the day. It is supposed to be ink drawings but I stuck to digital because that is what I was looking to improve on. I think it did help me a lot play with styles and techniques.
