This has been an eventful week to say the least and it was memorable as well I might as well take it day by day because something happened every day.
Monday:
Having spent the weekend helping out my partners mother while he was away (a pleasant enough weekend though I did feel the absence of Fergus š ) I got up at 6am. A disgustingly early time for someone who struggles to be awake by 7 to go to work well I walked to the train caught that and went to work which was fine did the usual things you do when you work in adops masterfully illustrated here. Then I went to see ONE REPLUBLIC it was a really good gig and would have been better if I booked the same seats as my friends. Being an idiot I bought the upper circle seats.
Hereās my view.
And here is theirs
I also developed a bad headache partway through š
Tuesday
Get up at 5:45 just wanting to die. At airport for 6am. In London by 9am.
Then I went to a very enjoyable adops conference were tens of us get together share knowledge and experience. It was an interesting day and I think I learned a lot from it.
Well that finished at one and it was back to Dublin for about 5.30. Not even 12 hours in London MADNESS. After that I went to college and arrived 20 minutes late for 2 2hour lectures (massively bad headache number 3 kicked in during lecture one.)
Also did I mention I finished my book? Well the first draft,
Wednesday
Hump day relatively easy day. Apart fro finding out the last 2 days writing got deleted. Being so tired my bones hurt. (Properly hurt I was not a happy or functional bunny). I had to work lunch to make time for a meeting with a lecturer (who showed up late and told me I had done no work despite me putting together a design doc for him to look over I am getting frustrated with them now) cello went well. I have learned 2 pieces over the last month. Mostly bit of fun and they wouldnāt be exam grade. But I dreamed a dream and the shindlers list theme. I’m out to break your heart with my playing.
Thursday
Work drinks curtsy of one of our publishers. Got a little tipsy then stumbled home to drunkenly discuss politics and bigotry with my brother and his friend. Lots of fun (only a slight headache)
Friday
Thatās today not terribly exciting but I was happy and headache free all day: D and I was in a good mood all day possibly cause its payday and this is the first month I have really realised the effect ynab (you need a budget) is having on my financial life. I’m not sure why its busy but I feel myself crawling out of debt and gaining control, which is nice
