Accountability- getting started
For the last year, I have been a member of Slimming world . A big Weight loss group that was started in the UK. I had been a member a few times before and lost some weight, this time, I have lost about 2 stone.
With them, I get quite easily down to 16 stone . Where I hover just sort of float around the 16. The main thing the club provides for me is accountability and a knowledge base. Recently they announced that my local group is closing down and since I have to date failed to really make progress closer to my goal with them I am using the closure as an opportunity to remove myself from the club.
I’m not worried about losing access to the knowledge base that comes with the club I know most of what I eat. I am worried that I will lose the accountability that comes with the meetings.
So I am doing a few things to make up for that.
- One is the bullet journal I have a page to track my weight week to week.
- And daily tasks to do with weight loss.
- And there will be updates on what I’m doing and how right here .
- Might include what I am cooking and progress updates. I will talk about swimming and the gym.
I am wary losing the accountability in the club and I will miss the women who were there offering advice and encouragement. If you have time and access I recommend slimming world . It’s a good system and support network . Now just feels like the time to move on
So to start this week I weigh.
16 stone
There is a lot of work ahead in order to reach my target of 14 stone 10. This last stone have proved to be quite tricky.
Now the focus is getting ahead building a good gym habit and keeping up the good eating habits I built up.
