A good month overall. though Financially draining. I took two weeks off at the start of the month and spent some time at my mum’s house in Donegal. got some photos I might try to turn into oil paintings eventually maybe. Consequently, there was less music and art done.
Art
The big news was I sent off my first commission of this oil painting. it was for a friend and the money went to the red cross in aid of people in Ukraine. it wasn’t a lot in the grand scheme of things but It was art for the sake of art. The rest was just digital art and some sketches as per usual. Though I am a little proud of the colouring pencil sketch of my dog frank. colouring pencil has never been a medium that ever satisfied me. It’s hard to get the colours you want.
Music
I only wrote 4ish pieces this month. Which is a real slowdown considering I’m on 42 for the whole year. other things have taken priority this month.
