It has been a long time since I updated this website. Because in part I hated the old design. This new design is better. a bit simpler and not doing so many unexpected things. my last post was for Inktober 2020 After which I disappeared. and it was not like my posts were overly frequent at the time. So since it is kind of pointless paying for a website I almost never use and gets about Zero traffic I have decided to try for at least a once a month update. Just on the little side projects that I do.
The web design
I finally refreshed the Web design based on a design I first worked out using affinity designer.
I updated my site because of my fustration with Instagram and Facebook. A lot of the art I was posting to instagram but some of my art is gay/queer-related and focused on the human(mostly male) body that I suspect they are limiting my reach or I’m not that popular on Instagram but still, it feels better to have my work on my own platform controlled by me.
Anyway this this updated design is brighter and cleaner and leaves a lot of scope for further devlopement as I go.
The Cello Exam
I did my Grade 7 cello exam this month. Which I submitted online. This was something I worked the whole year for and Look forward to seeing the results. Which I probably won’t get till next year.
Here is a clip I have of some attempts I made at my three pieces, Vivaldi sonata V, Tarantella by Wh squire, and Leid by Sergei Rachmaninov

If anything becomes a regular section on this site it will be this. my artwork for the month.
This is an eclectic bunch. an attempt at sculpting my own head (i look like the doll from Squid Game). I know 3d stuff needs work.
Lenormand Cards Plugin
Last year I designed a deck of Lenormand cards for myself and had them printed through make playing cards. Since then I have struggled with how I wanted to show off the design. What I decided to do was create a plugin with a widget and shortcode for WordPress that would display the cards and allow a user to ask a question and show some potential keyword mixes.
