So this month has been rough. My back ran into a problem for which I am going to a chiropractor for. It was very painful and put a stop to yoga. Upsetting because that is a daily activity for me and eventually something I want to do yoga teacher training. If I can sort my back and the funds
Pain is very distracting so it put a stop to a lot of art-making too.
The Big news is I have a redbubble shop and I Sold … one greeting card. I am proud that somebody liked the bad boy enough to buy him for a friend. Who knows if there will be more?
There will be more. Probably not earning me enough for me to live off but hey. it’s nice to be a little bit appreciated.
The only other art I have really done this month was in relation to my cousin’s wedding
One is a pencil portrait of the happy couple that is at least recognisably them (younger and without the O’Byrne nose, which is a good thing, apparently). The other is a design around my mom’s speech at the wedding. She requested eucalyptus leaves, a lantern and a dragon. I think she’s getting to like having an arty child. not that I have shown her gift-wrapped bob up there
A wedding wishA Family portrait
I’ll round this out with the last creative thing I did this month.
Music
I’m focused on my music exam, probably next June. I did sit down to write this track after watching an analysis on all I want for Christmas, is you. The song I hate more than any other because of my previous life working in retail. Basically, I stole the chord progression . The key is different, and I made up the rest. but inspiration has to come from somewhere.
